Prayer Shawl Ministry - Please join this important and loving ministry.
Next Meeting will be Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 9:00am in the Fellowship Hall. (Please note the revised date so that this meeting does not conflict with the Regional Retreat.) This ministry is truly one of love.
We are asking the Congregation of First Christian to come on Sunday September 19th and help the PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY CELEBRATE. We have now given out over 200 SHAWLS, 88 to members and 113 to non-members. FIRST: you or anyone in your family who has received a PRAYER SHAWL, we ask you to wear it that Sunday or if it is too warm to carry it. SECOND: We want the whole church to feel a part of this ministry so we are asking each family to bring a gift bag. You may place it in the box provided for it in the narthex.

CROP WALK!
The Crop Walk will be at El Doraado Park, 70th Street in Scottsdale, on Sunday November 14, the second sunday in November. The Web site is www.crophungerwalks.org/east registration is at 1:30 pm with the walk at 2 pm.
